We have just wrapped up another week of VBS at Askewville Baptist Church!
We were delighted to have a wonderful time of growing in the knowledge of Jesus and having fun worshiping Him! We truly feel that God has blessed this year.
A special thank you to our VBS director Melinda Eure, and to all of the people who helped to make VBS a success by giving of their time and talents to help young people find Jesus, whether it be providing part of meal, leading a class, or bringing a child to VBS. It was truly an honor to see so many people of various ages all pull together to show kids how important Jesus is in our lives.
Our VBS offering was collected for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child
We are so proud of the efforts of the children and their families- We were able to raise over $1300 to help fill shoe boxes, and the children also designed cards with a message of love to go into the boxes!
