We are so very proud of the young people in our church who have been working hard for months to commit God’s word to memory!

This past Sunday we held our Church Drill and were delighted that we had four children, two youth, and two high schoolers who were prepared to compete at the Church Drill level.

We are also excited to see them and some of our fellow churches this next Sunday at 3 PM for the Association-wide Drill.

This past Saturday, we gathered for some fun fellowship with a Soup and Sandwich party. We enjoyed some delicious food, and had some good old-fashioned fun playing some party games together! Mrs. Sarah Mizelle turned out to be a world-class football toss player, beating all comers to take home the championship! 🙂

Praise God for our members’ dedication to loving on our community! 85 handmade crocheted blankets were delivered on January 22nd to the Vintage Inn in Williamston, NC. These blankets were lovingly prepared by our Hands-On-Mission group for the residents of a local rest home.

This wonderful, mission-oriented group meets weekly on Wednesdays to fellowship and to make crocheted items for local organizations and people. They have made hundreds of items over the years for groups such as the Family Resource Center of Ahoskie, local dialysis patients, The Vintage Inn, and many more.

Pictured below are the members that could make it to the delivery day, along with many of the blankets that they made, and our pastor, Zach Hicks.
